Humans are born with gums but no teeth yet. The first set of teeth are called baby teeth and usually appear around the age of 6 months. The second set of tooth, or permanent teeth, usually replace the baby teeth around the age of 6. Teeth are an important part of the facial structure and play a role in digestion and speech development. Although teeth look like bones, they are different from bone.

Humans have symmetrical types, numbers and arrangements of both sets of teeth on the left and right sides of the upper and lower sides of the mouth, acting as mirror images of each other on each side.

Children’s teeth start to emerge when they are around six months old. In medical terms, these are called deciduous teeth because they eventually fall out like trees shed leaves in the fall. Most people refer to these teeth as baby teeth แทงบอล UFABET ราคาดีที่สุด ไม่มีขั้นต่ำ, but they are also sometimes called the first set of teeth or baby teeth.

However, children have 20 baby teeth – 10 on the top and 10 on the bottom. These teeth determine where the permanent teeth will come in when they fall out. But even though baby teeth will fall out when the time comes, that doesn’t mean you don’t have to care for them like you would for permanent teeth.

It’s important to get your child into the habit of eating a healthy diet and brushing their teeth from the time they start to emerge. By around age six, baby teeth will start to become loose and fall out, and permanent teeth will come in to take their place. This process continues as your child enters their teens.

Permanent teeth

Finally, adults have more teeth than children. Most adults have 32 teeth: 8 incisors, 4 canines, 8 premolars and 12 molars (including 4 wisdom teeth). Most people will have all 32 permanent teeth by the time they reach adolescence. Adults often have their wisdom teeth removed because there is not enough space in the mouth for these teeth to erupt properly or align with the other teeth.
